What's On
Memory, Meaning and the Unsaid

8th November 2026
Date: Sunday 8 November 2026
Time: 9:30 am to 4:00 pm
Venue: Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea
In partnership with Forget Me Not: Dementia Day Clubs and Swansea & District Writers' Circle, Dr Mark Cainen will lead a scriptwriting workshop exploring dementia and the lives it touches.
Join us for a day of writing, conversation and collaboration. No writing experience is needed. Mark will guide you through exercises to help you get started, while representatives from Forget Me Not will talk about dementia and their work supporting people living with it.
You will have the opportunity to meet others, exchange ideas and share experiences, if you wish. You are equally welcome to listen and take part without sharing anything personal.
Together, we will explore how everyday moments, memories and conversations can become short scripts that help others better understand life with dementia.
The workshop costs £10 per person, with all profits donated to Forget Me Not: Dementia Day Clubs.
There are 10 places available. To register your interest, please complete the workshop registration form.
